Part I.  Information Collection

RollerGirl.ca only collects information on those who purchase products through the RollerGirl Store. This information includes customer name, shipping address, contact telephone number, email address and purchase history. This information is used only to maintain relationships with our customers and is never shared, sold or divulged to any third party. We do not keep records of our customer’s credit card information.

We may also collect information that our users divulge about other people, (such as referrals or gift purchases.)

RollerGirl.ca does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

All information is collected voluntarily. In order to purchase a product, one must fill out a registration form. To receive our products, correct shipping and contact information is mandatory. Other information we request is optional.

Part II.  Information Usage.

The information collected by RollerGirl.ca will be used primarily for processing orders. Users that provide information may be contacted at a later date for follow up, informational or advertising purposes.

Registered users may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will be used to create customer profiles based on purchasing history. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources (such as credit history to authorize purchases).

We do not share our data with any third parties.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Our Web site offers a forum. Please be advised that information posted on this forum becomes public knowledge.

Part III.  Access to Information

RollerGirl.ca maintains a database of all customer accounts.  Users may access and change their own personal information or contact us about inaccuracies they may find. To access your personal account, log on to our shopping cart system and click on my account. You may also send us an email at rollergirl@rollergirl.ca requesting a copy of your account information. Users may delete their information from our database by contacting us at rollergirl@rollergirl.ca and requesting that your personal account be deleted.

RollerGirl.ca protects user information with the following security measures: All sensitive information (contact information, credit card number, etc.) is collected through a 128-bit encrypted SSL connection provided by industry leader Thawte. Other personal information is stored in a password-protected database that is not made available to the public.
