I am old and not very good anymore, but was going through some old videos to put something together for my skateboard friends. I came across this video and thought I would share. I don't understand why inline skating changed so much since when I tried it for a year. At one time, I thought inline skating would bring vertical rollerskating to a new level and somehow it evolved to something else. After sixteen years, I am back on quads and wish these inliners would do some vert and keep our heritage going. It's too bad that the two sports have seperated so much. I travelled Europe in 1992 and came across so many awesome rollerskaters. Thankfully there are many inliners outside of the U.S. still doing vert on inlines, but it seems inline skating has taken on its own identity and it is not the same as rollerskating. Here is some oldschool stuff and now I am exclusively skating quads and having a blast.
