Amy Kessler, aka Buckshot Betsy, is a true RollerGirl. She rules both the ramp and the derby track.

Amy plays roller derby as Buckshot Betsy for the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers in Austin Texas, she also rips the ramps and bowls on the side.

Amy Kessler's Biography

"I first started skating when I was 8. I got into figure skating, of course this was my mothers doing. I defiantly had a natural ability for skating. This was a short lived hobby. I didn't event put on a pair of skates for almost a decade after that. After moving from Dallas to Austin I met this chick that played roller derby in a local league. The skills were still there, just like riding a bike. My husband is the one who encouraged me to start hitting the parks and back yard ramps. He has been skateboarding for 25 years. It is cool because it is something that we can do together. Watching skateboarders is pretty much how I taught myself to do what I do."
