Lars and his brother Arne were the only German roller skaters that skated side stance in the 1980's.

Lars and his brother Arne were known as "the Twins". In addition to skating together, they had their own band called "Red Row Six" which has been described as "street/punk/rock 'n roll".

Arne Langguth died tragically in 2005 due to a heart problem.
