Rene was a Danish skater who appeared late in the European skate scene, sometime around 1990. He introduced many new tricks and was ranked number one in Europe in the early 1990's.
Renee was described as a very funny and nice person, especially over a few pints at a good Irish pub.
In the early 1990's many good Danish skaters started to emerge on the skate scene. The German skaters used to say "dänen lügen nicht", which means "Danes never lie" (a play on word with the popular German song "tränen lügen nicht" which means "tears never lie").
