)...I know they are not going to get me through very long, but I wanted skates now and Riedell's weren't an option. I'm looking to go to conditioning starting as soon as my skates come...and I am looking to get new wheels to use at the rink for these. The Wheels currently are pegged at 58mm x 40mm urethane, and the Bearings at Excellerator 608ZB. Could any wheels of the same size be put on these skates? and if I were to change out the wheels, would I need new bearings as well? I don't want to spend a lot on the newer wheels as I want to buy a new pair of skates in a few paychecks, but I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions for a short term fix.
