Bonsor is a first-rate concrete park located in Burnaby near Metrotown. It has something for everyone: a bowl with a full-pipe and granite coping, a street plaza and a soft old-school bowl.
Bonsor is a simply a great park. It was built in 2004 by Spectrum Sk8park Creations LTD and named the Metro Skatepark but everyone else calls it Bonsor. It consists of three different sections: the Metro Square street plaza, the Bonsor Pipeline bowl and the Dog Leg bowl.

The Bonsor Pipeline is the only full-pipe around and it is a nice one at about 18 feet of diametter.
The Dog Leg bowl has been designed for beginners but it's actually an interesting terrain for all skill levels. It's indeed a great place to get used to slopes and corners but also a good place to practice new freestyle or oldschool tricks. Virtually no coping, all smooth slopes, humps and corners.
The island in the middle of the main bowl. The main bowl has areas of various depths from about 5 feet to 8 feet and pool coping all the way around.
The Metro Square Street Plaza occupies about half of the overall grounds. The large variety of stairs, fun boxes, ledges and rails are all placed so as to allow a good flow.
