265 boots custom-mounted on new XK-4 Double Action, 45 degree aluminum plates. These plates give the performance that we’ve seen in much higher-end plates, at a very reasonable price. These are not light-weight aluminum plates like the Reactors, but the responsiveness is excellent.
Recommended for:
- Intermediate to advanced roller derby skaters over 140lbs
- Heavier skaters (over 200lbs) beginner through advanced, wanting a better performing skate off the bat.
- Skaters with regular to wide feet
- Skaters wanting a better performing skate. Better turning radius, more responsive action.
Not usually recommended for:
- Very small, light skaters (115lbs or less) - you might be happier on a lighter plate!
- Skaters who are still feeling unstable, “twitchy” or “flail-y” on their skates
- Anyone in a big rush! 4-6 weeks delivery
- Not available for size Mens 4 or smaller.
