JUNIOR ROLLER DERBY is a rapidly growing sport that empowers youth to become strong, confident and physically active. It helps develop valuable leadership skills, a sense of community and builds team spirit. TJRD encourages inclusiveness and we welcome youth of all athletic abilities and backgrounds to join us. You don't need to be a star athlete to be a derby kid, just have a killer attitude and guts!
TORONTO JUNIOR ROLLER DERBY was established in May 2010 to provide youth between the ages of 9 and 18 a safe, fun and supportive environment to learn flat track roller derby. While most of our skaters are girls, boys are welcome to skate with us or learn how to referee.
