Skate size - Use our Sizing Tool

The very best way to determine which size to order is to use our Sizing Tool, which is located on the product page of each skate model.

Make sure to repeat the Sizing Tool on each product you are interested in: Not all skates are sized the same, you may be a Skate Size 6 in one model, but a Skate Size 5 in another.

Enter your shoe size, variance, width, and an optional (but recommended) foot measurement, and the Sizing Tool will recommend the best size for you in that model.

Kids - If the skates are for a growing child, we recommend purchasing one size larger than the Sizing Tool recommendation. This will allow for some room to grow into.

** Don’t be surprised if your Skate Size is very different from your Shoe Size. **

Protective gear size - Take your measurements and compare

We provide fitting guidelines on most of our protective gear product pages. You will need to take some basic body measurements and compare with the provided guidelines. If your measurements are between sizes, you can choose to go either up or down a size. Protective gear stretches out a lot as it breaks in. If you size down, your gear may be uncomfortable and binding when it is new, but will usually break in nicely. If you size up, you will have comfort from the start, but they may stretch out too much as they break in.

Foot measurement

Foot measurement diagram

How to take an accurate foot measurement:
  • Place a piece of paper on a hard floor, against the wall
  • Stand barefoot on the paper with your heel against the wall
  • Make sure the paper has not shifted and is still flat and against the wall
  • Draw a line on the paper at the tip of your longest toe
  • Measure the distance between the edge of the paper that was against the wall and the line you drew, in Millimeters
  • Measure it again to double check the measurement
  • Do this again with the other foot
  • Use the measurement of your biggest foot (for most people, one foot will be slightly bigger than the other)
