About Us

RollerGirl.ca was founded by Lisa Suggitt (aka RollerGirl) in March 2003.

Lisa has been roller skating for over 20 years. She is an aggressive roller skater, plays roller derby and coaches the Terminal City Roller Girls. Lisa is a roller skate fanatic and loves to share her passion with the world.

On July 22nd 2007 RollerGirl Rollerskates Inc. openned a brick and mortar retail store in Vancouver, British Columbia. See our Contact Us page for the address and a map of the area.

Over the years some newspaper, magazine, television and radio pieces were published about and by RollerGirl. Some are now archived in The Vault for your viewing pleasure.

Our Mission

It is our mission at RollerGirl to help cultivate a strong new roller skate culture. This involves making roller skates and roller skate parts accessible to everyone, providing information and support to roller skaters, providing a public forum where roller skaters can meet and share ideas, and promoting events that bring roller skaters together.

RollerGirl is dedicated to growing as a sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible business. This sustainable business model is the base of all our business decisions and is reflected in the way we treat our customers, employees and the environment.

Our Products

RollerGirl does not offer every available model of roller skates or roller skate accessories on the market. Instead, we hand pick and carefully test products that we can stand behind. Our goal is to offer only those products that we feel offer the best quality and value. Lisa Suggitt (RollerGirl) personally tests every product offered on RollerGirl.ca. Our skating products are tested in their natural environments: all our roller derby products are tested on the derby track, our aggressive products are tested on ramps and bowls and our outdoor products are tested in a variety of different real life outdoor situations.

Offering a select line of exceptional products enables us to ensure that our staff is intimately familiar with each product and thus able of offer top quality information and recommendations. At RollerGirl Rollerskates you can expect comprehensive, reliable answers on everything from how a pair of skates will fit to how fast a specific wheel is to which laces will match your mouth-guard! We stand behind everything that we sell .

Our Guarantee

Our customer's happiness is our main concern. We guarantee 100% customer satisfaction , and we really mean it! We do everything in our power to ensure that our customers are making informed and appropriate purchases. We have extensive procedures in place to ensure that your roller skates will fit perfectly the first time, but in the rare case that a skate needs to be exchanged for a different size or model we have the best return policies in the industry.
